In 1988, Prince Nyadimbo was invited into a permaculture workshop led by Bill Mollison, the founder of the permaculture movement, and became a changed man. What had been a passion became a purpose; he left a career in marketing, and for over thirty years he has dedicated himself to teaching people how to grow their own food in harmony with nature.
Prince worked for many decades with Soil for Life and has trained more than 300 farmers in organic growing, from the fundamentals of composting to the ingenuity of vertical gardening, helping individuals and communities take meaningful steps toward food security. He believes deeply that growing your own food is not a luxury but a life skill, and his enthusiasm for passing that knowledge on has never dimmed.
At Path to Health Center, Prince tends our permaculture vegetable garden with the same care and conviction he brings to everything. The fresh produce that ends up in the kitchen starts with him, and that connection between garden and table, between nature and healing, feels entirely in keeping with what the practice stands for.
