PATH Method

A path to your own healing

Our home-created PATH Method is a whole-person way of working with the inner life, born and medically studied here at Path to Health Center, where it is woven into our medical care, as well as being taught in workshops and trainings.

Developed by Dr. Raoul Goldberg and Dana Smirin over decades of practice, PATH Method locates the often-hidden roots of physical symptoms in the body’s intelligence, then engages body and mind together to reach what conventional medicine alone can’t. At the Center it works as both a diagnostic and a therapeutic tool, and it is built to become something you can carry on your own.

What it can do for you

  • Reach the emotional and nervous-system roots beneath physical symptoms.
  • Provide you a toolset you can return to on your own, at home, not only in session.
  • Support the deeper work alongside your medical treatment at the Center.

At the Center

Experience PATH Method as part of your care, woven through consultation at Path to Health Center. Take advantage of a full counseling session with Dr. Goldberg in the afternoons, as opposed to the medical appointments he holds in the first half of the day.

Why it’s different

Unlike approaches that keep a facilitator in the room, PATH Method is built to become self-applicable once learned, and it goes beyond witnessing the challenged part of yourself to actively resourcing the hurt part with a remedy, a move many approaches don’t have.
