Khanyiswa, known affectionately to everyone at Path to Health Center as Nunu, has a gift for making people feel looked after. Not something she learned from a textbook; just who she is. Since joining the practice in 2020, she has become one of those people the whole team quietly wonders how they ever managed without.
As clinic and reception assistant, Nunu is often the warm presence that greets patients when they arrive and checks in on them throughout their treatments. She also works closely with Dr. Goldberg, assisting with medicine preparations and keeping the dispensary running smoothly, a role that suits her meticulous, caring nature perfectly.
Before Path to Health Center, Nunu managed a family household and B&B, and those years gave her the chance to refine what has become something of a legendary skill among the team, her cooking. The practice garden grows its own vegetables through a permaculture system, and Nunu, when time or special occasions permit, transforms that fresh produce into gourmet nourishing meals that make everyone pause mid-bite and feel genuinely grateful. A small but telling detail about who she is. Whatever she does, she does with care, and the people around her are better off for it.
